2. Can I share my Eshav MP3 files with others?

We provide these resources on a donation basis and are available for your friends to download on a donation basis, also. we encourage you to refer your friends and family to our website so that they may have all these resources avalaible to them as well.

We ask only that you do not resell the files or make a profit off of them in any way.  We also ask that you do not make them available on any web site or download / file trading service.

3. Which MP3 player software should I use?

In order to play your mp3 files on your computer, there are several programs that you can use.

PC

MAC
4. How can I get more teaching in MP3?

These are the ways to obtain Eshav Books materials in MP3:

5. How do I put a downloaded MP3 message on an Audio CD?

To make an Audio CD from an MP3 file, you need two things:

  1. CD Burner
  2. CD Burning software, such as Nero, Roxio, EasyCD, SonicNow

All the CD Burning software works slightly differently so we are unable to provide exact instructions for your specific system.  Using the CD Burning software, select the Audio CD option, and add the desired MP3 to the track list.  Please use the Help section of your software if you unsure how to use it.

6. I want to transfer these MP3 files to Audio CD, but the audio is too long to fit on a single CD. How can I do this?
Some of the MP3's are longer than the 74 minutes allowed on a normal audio CD.  To get all of this teaching on CD, you will need to split the file into two, and burn the audio to two separate CD's.  A free program for splitting these files can be found here.
7. I have lost the files I downloaded, can I re-download them?
Yes, you can re-download them if they are still available on the website. If they are not on the site, please email us and we will try to help you if they are still available.
8. When I follow the instructions to download, the Save Target As is grayed out.

This happens because Internet Explorer's Content Advisor settings do not want you to be able to download files.  To fix this, click on Tools > Internet Options > Content > Content Adviser.  Click "Disable" to disable this option.

If you are on an office network then you will need to ask your system administrator to disable it.

9. How do I download a zipped MP3?

Assuming you're using a Windows computer, using Internet Explorer:

1. Click on a zipped MP3, which will open a pop-up window/Dialog box.

2. The dialog box will give you the option of where to save the file.

Common problems to downloading include:

1. Cookies must be enabled on your browser.
2. Download managers such as LeechGet or Download Express may take over the download.  This isn't necessarily a problem, but the 'Save Target As' will behave differently than described above.
3. Javascript is being blocked by either being turned off, or using 3rd party software.  The pop-up window will not pop up without Javascript.

If you're not using Windows and Internet Explorer, please email us, and be sure to answer these questions in your email:

  1. What is the name of the MP3 you trying to download?
  2. Which operating system are you using? (Windows, Mac, etc., include version number)
  3. Which MP3 player software are you using? (WinAmp, RealPlayer, iTunes, etc.)
  4. Which web browser are you using? (IE, Netscape, Mozilla, etc.)
  5. Are you using any download managers? (LeechGet,Download Express, etc.)
10. How do I open a zipped MP3?

  2. A folder will open up and you will seee the mp3 file inside.
  3. Drag the mp3 out.
