Some Holidays
Blowing Shofar High Holidays - Observed over a 10-day period, beginning with Rosh Hashanah and ending with Yom Kippur. Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, celebrates the creation of the world and is a time for reflection on the year past.
Sheep Passover - It commemorates God's deliverance of the Jewish people from Egypt after hundreds of years of slavery. One of the major mitzvos of this holiday is the prohibition against eating any leavened bread or products (see next ).
Feast of Unleavened Bread - 7 day feast from the 15th to the 21st of Nisan. It commemorates the departing from Egypt without time to bake leavened bread.
Feast of First Fruits - Scripture does not specify the actual calendar date of Firstfruits, but prescribed its time of observance to be “on the day after the Sabbath”.

Counting the Omer- a verbal counting of each of the forty-nine days between the Jewish holidays of Passover and Shavuot. The omer is a Biblical measure of volume of grain.

Shavuot - Shavuot occurs on the sixth day of the month of Sivan . It commemorates the anniversary of the day God gave the Torah to Moses and the Israelites at Mount Sinai.
