A few months ago, Bob conducted a Passover Seder and presented the Covenant Seminar at "The Gathering" in New Orleans, Louisiana (http://thegatheringcc.com/). They were in New Orleans on March 26-27-& 28, 2010.
Here are some of the comments from some of the loving and kind people of that congregation.
---------------------------------
“A few weeks ago Bob and Lindy came to our community and taught the covenant seminar as well as taught us how to celebrate Passover. It was a tremendous weekend with a lot of information and experiential learning.
Bob teaches in a way that is clear, concise and easy for any believer to follow at any level of spiritual maturity.
It was a blessing to have Bob and Lindy partake in our community and to hear the scriptures exegeted from a Hebraic perspective. We look forward to having a return visit and seminar here in New Orleans.”

Wow what a compliment to Bob. Thank you Lindy

The Covenant seminar and life teaching from Bob was incredible! The questions I had were answered very thoroughly and there were so many things clarified. The background and insight given from a true Hebrew mindset are lessons that will stay with me forever. I was challenged with old truths that were fairly new to me and they have changed my life-for the best!

"The guest speaker last weekend, Mr. Gorelik reiterated the desperate need for me as a Bible reader to dig in scripture for meaning that isn't obvious on the page, nor always interpreted by today's teachers. I learned new terms and have a renewed vigor for my desire to know God with a better understanding of Biblical History.
the gathering's mission: to create a spiritual community to live as Jesus lived.

In January 2010, Bob taught the Creation Seminar at the Sonora Messianic Fellowship.
Here are some comments from some of the Sonora disciples.
---------------------------------
Hi Bob,
Just a quick note to say "Hi" and thanks so much for the fabulous Creation seminar. I'm still savoring the mind-blowing concepts that you offered in that seminar. I do believe it's the best yet! I said that last year after the Captive Woman seminar. Both are outstanding and a "must-hear".
Have a wonderful week. We all look forward to seeing you and hearing from you soon.
Blessings,
Sally Finch

Rabbi Bob must have a brain that is somewhat like a
super computer...the amount of information that he has stored
in there is incredible. Each time he shares a new seminar, I
feel as though I have gone through a full year doctorate
level class in just a few days. I really appreciate the way
that he can share very difficult bible concepts in a way
that is digestable.
Bob (and Lindy), I really love you and
and am thankful to G-d for bringing you into my life.

Here are some more comments.
---------------------------------
Bob has a way of connecting ideas that they become clear, however complex they are, as long as the listener is open to hearing what he has to say.
Bob draws on the fountain of knowledge found in the literature of the Sages to illuminate the writings of the Biblical prophets and authors.
Bob's emphasis on maintaining the language, culture and audience of a text can be used to understand even the most difficult passages revealing insight that has been overlooked for generations.
Be well, Matthew and Jessa Munoz

I just listened to one of Bob's Topical studies that I called "Who We Are - Who We are Not". (Romans 11) This one is perhaphs one of Bob's best works to date! It's an absolutly Critical, Must Listen to, for all believers connected to a synagogue.
Thanks,
Yonah

Acts Seminar Workbook |
"This seminar on The Book of Acts gave me real insight into the early growth of the followers of Jesus/Yeshua in the context of His time, world, culture and beliefs. As a 'cradle Catholic,' I have always been taught to explore and appreciate the Jewish roots of our faith. Bob Gorelik’s unique knowledge and perspective made this very important era come alive for me.
I came away with a real value for the richness of our faith traditions and journey together. In short—suddenly it made sense and it was very, very good. I encourage Bob to do a similar seminar on Paul/Saul and I will be the first one to sign up."—Kathy B. "I enjoyed the seminar very much.
The Book of Acts was a major study at a missionary training institution that I once (attended). Bob's presentation was radically different from that class. Contrasting the two, Bob's presentation is more enlightened.
Where the two differed (and sometimes differed radically), Bob's was the view that I believe to be accurate to the truth. Most commentaries on Acts lack the foundational Jewish perspective. The focus is usually on 'the church' but Bob insights even turn that topic inside out (or should I say right side up)—actually both are true"

"My wife and I recently attended Bob Gorelik's Covenant seminar. Bob engages his students’ immediately with a challenge: suspend our often tenaciously held preconceived ideas about biblical covenant and allow Scripture to expound G-d’s own covenant language and concepts. Bob’s extensive knowledge of not only the Hebrew text but also the languages’ nuances and idioms, allows him to deliver fresh insights and draw clear, unequivocal conclusions about what G-d means by covenant and to whom each biblical covenant applies and why.
Beginning with the covenant with Noah, Bob explains in detail numerous critical aspects of each biblical covenant, carefully distinguishing between the New and Renewed covenants – a surprising biblical truth shattering many long-standing preconceived ideas about these covenants. Bob digs deep into rabbinical literature and elucidates covenant details either unexplored or suppressed in traditional theological paradigms. Bob’s approach is scholarly and his presentation lucid. Mr. Gorelik’s Covenant seminar is a prerequisite for anyone wishing to distinguish between what Scripture says and means about covenant from the traditional teaching on this fundamental biblical concept"—Kevin & Sonya K.
"How refreshing! Rabbi Bob Gorelik is definately the most talented teacher we have heard in all the years we've been studying our Hebrew Roots. Some teachers remain on the elementary level, some are not well-organized, and others are hard to follow no matter how hungry you are to learn. Rabbi Gorelik is perhaps the most studied, well informed, organized teacher we've heard, and we could listen to him all day. In fact, we listened for two days and want more. He is very down to earth and could delve as deep into his subject as anyone in the audience could challenge him. It certainly helps knowing he is a Levite and has studied in Christian circles for years. We are recommending him to everyone we know

Covenant Seminar, Sonora, CA |
Bob’s Covenant Seminar was “spiritual treasure” mined in the foothills of the Mother Lode. Gathering out on her deck, about 35 people form several different churches spent two days learning about the six Biblical Covenants at the home of Dolores Jones in Jamestown, Ca. Taught from a Jewish perspective, Bob showed how the Covenants God made with Abraham and Moses are still in effect for today.
Between the teaching, Davidic dancing and prayer times, hearts were knit together. This home group, both a weekly Bible study and monthly Chai Night fellowship, began recently with 10 and has grown to 30-40 people, and continues to grow. “Our Chai Night group, which is predominately Gentile, meets monthly to have Shabbat and recapture the lost Jewish roots of our faith. The Covenant Seminar brought everything into clear focus, how we as Gentiles, have been grafted into the family of Abraham, and can enjoy the blessings of the promises made to our spiritual forefathers in the same way as Abraham’s’ natural descendants. The continuing faithfulness of God to his people is wonderful reassurance to us today”—D. Jones“The eyes of my understanding were opened wide.
So many things that never quite made sense before now fall into place perfectly!”—D. Franklin“Bob’s teaching was absolutely anointed. Some of the concepts were familiar but when Bob explained them, it was like a picture that I’d seen in black & white now bursting into living color!”—J.Reiben
Bob also preached both Sunday sermons at Sonora’s landmark, (Episcopalian) “Red Church”. The message was so well received that the Fr. Wolf Krismantis is already planning for Bob’s return. God is certainly using Bob’s ministry to reach out in this community. He and Lindy will just have to come and stay longer next visit so God can spread him around. |
| Ministry in Antigua, Copan & Tegucigalpa |

"Downtown" - Antigua, Guatemala
|
Bob & Lindy recently returned from Guatemala and Honduras. Bob spoke at the annual conference of Ministerio La Higuera. The ministry, headquartered in Tegucigalpa, Honduras has local “chapters” throughout Central America. The primary focus of the ministry is intercessory prayer—for the nation of Israel and for the Jewish people. But, they also emphasize bible study (from a Jewish perspective), the importance of understanding and celebrating the biblical feasts, acquiring a Jewish “world-view” and other means of supporting Israel. To this end, they meet regularly for intercessory prayer, teach bible classes, host annual conferences, organize tours to Israel and share the “vision” with Christians all over Latin America. This year’s conference theme was taken from the book of Jeremiah; “This is what the LORD says: ‘Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls’” (Jer 6:16). Antigua and Copan provided an ideal backdrop to explore the significance of this text. After the conference, Bob and Lindy went “home” with the group from Tegucigalpa. Bob had the opportunity to do “abbreviated” Covenant seminars in various churches and home groups—all who want him back for the full teaching. Bob spoke on the significance of the Sabbath at a Friday evening home group, on “making good decisions” with a group of young people (Lindy taught them Israeli dances), on the “olive tree” (Rom 11) at a Sunday morning church service, on “the life of Jacob” and “the deity of the Messiah” at La Higuera meetings and on the importance of Israel for an Enlace television broadcast. And, Bob & Lindy also visited an orphanage and a “project” for gang-members. It was great. |
