Begin With Shabbat Begin With Shabbat
Begin With Shabbat (Book - 71 Pages)
By Robert Gorelik

This book was not designed to be an exhaustive study of the Sabbath. It was not intended to be a comprehensive Friday evening “home-service.” And, it was not intended to take the place of a Friday Evening Service at a local Messianic Congregation or traditional Jewish Synagogue.

This book was designed to be an introduction to the Sabbath. It is a simple guide to help you start celebrating the Sabbath in your own home with your family and friends—in a way that is meaningful, faithful to the traditions that have been handed down by our forefathers (and foremothers) and simple to use.

It includes everything that you need to know about a home-service in order to get started. It tells you how to prepare, what to do at each step, what blessings to say, and how to pronounce (or chant) them in Hebrew. The blessings are transliterated and translated so that you can recite (or chant) them in Hebrew with confidence and know what the words mean. Further, this book provides insights into why we say what we say and why we do what we do. Every Biblical verse mentioned and rabbinic text cited is identified. So please, look them up. And enjoy celebrating the Sabbath! Paperback-71 pages.

Machzor for the High Holidays (Book)
(Book )
By Robert Gorelik

Machzor which means “cycle” is a Siddur (Prayerbook) for the High Holidays; Rosh HaShanah (the Head [or Beginning] of the [New] year), known Biblically as the Feast of Trumpets, and Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement).

It is not generally not known that the traditional Siddur contains the basic prayers for the High Holidays, except for the liturgical poems (piyyutim) that are specifically associated with each “Feast” or Holiday Service/Celebration.

This Machzor is designed for someone who is just beginning to celebrate the High Holidays in a Messianic congregation and for the “seasoned” celebrant alike. It contains the prayers for both evening and morning services, and includes the piyyutim for each Holiday.

The services are traditional, but not burden-some. They include “in-structions” so that everyone can participate. Many of the prayers in Hebrew are displayed in an “in-terlinear” style that includes a transliterated text. The Machzor also contains a “Guide to Pronunciation” and many “End Notes” that explain the significance of why we do what we do and say what we say. It also includes texts from the New Covenant Scriptures that compliment the traditional prayers.

The Kalam - Cosmological Argument for the Existence of God Kalam Book

(Booklet, Illustrated - 12 Pages)
By Robert Gorelik

The Kalam Cosmological Argument for the existence of God is one of the most interesting arguments for theism.

It is a series of three (3) dilemmas. It would be impossible to give all of the details of the argument in this small booklet, but this brief outline will help you understand the basic idea.

The following diagram provides a graphic representation of the Argument. As you can see, there are three (3) dilemmas or forks. At each fork, there are two (2) possible options to choose from.

Kalam Diagram

The Argument progresses through the forks and ends with the conclusion that the Universe Began, that it was Caused , and that it was Caused by a Personal Being.
